Urmas Arumäe is an expert in commercial law, family business and civil law and a family mediator.

Urmas Arumäe is a legal and management researcher and theologian with versatile theoretical training and extensive practical experience as a lawyer. He holds two Master of Laws (LLM) cum laude, as well as Masters in International Business Management (MBA) and Theology (MA) cum laude. He obtained his doctoral degree (PhD) in management science. Urmas is also interested in what is happening in the gray area at the border of management and law from the point of view of scientific research. Among other things, theological education helps to understand people better, which is a great help in managing family affairs, especially in protecting the interests of children. It is also useful in family reconciliation.

Urmas has worked as a barrister for nearly 30 years (from January 1994 until spring 2022), and as a lawyer even longer. He has previously owned and managed large law firms Concordia and Landwell in the Estonian sense, but also tried to run a one-man office (Andresson Consulting Network, Arumäe Advokaadibürood). Both large, medium, small and one-man law firms have their charms and their pains – everyone is left with the memory of good colleagues and an experience that money cannot buy.

From 2021, Urmas Arumäe acts as a family mediator.

Many remember Urmas Arumäe as the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Estonia (1994) or as the Viims municipality mayor (2005-2008). In November 2011, Urmas came to an end with politics.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Urmas was an associate professor of business law and public administration at the Estonian Business School (EBS) for nearly 30 years, where he has been selected as the best lecturer in the field two years in a row based on student feedback. He has written two popular business law textbooks and a successful family business handbook, which has been reprinted. Irina Budrik is the head of the tax planning and accounting service in the field of corporate services.

Irina has worked as an accountant in both the public and private sectors for over 25 years. As an accountant, she has prepared several financial reports of projects funded by the European Union and successfully passed the audits of these projects. Such projects have been called the “Olympics of accounting”.

Irina is convinced that honest, open and friendly communication is the basis of cooperation between the client and the accountant/consultant.
